about
"House of Love (Ogbe Yekun)," ÌFÉ's second single is a ghostly, beckoning musical offering. Recorded live using improvised electronic instruments, ÌFÉ mixes Cuban Rumba with the digital sounds of Jamaican Dancehall, creating a musical space and expression altogether its own. At times tender, at other moments seductive and flirtatious, the song is an invitation / an offering to those forces that walk among us and a reminder that life is nothing if not a constant act of giving to receive.

One of my all time favorites from the incredible London Lucumi Choir! Stunning choral arrangements of Ocha music from an amazing ensemble directed by Daniela De Armas. Required listening!! ÌFÉ
I produced this album with Puerto Rico based artist MIMA back in 2011. It was my first go at indie rock production and it's one of the works I'm most proud of. Incredible album from this artist! ÌFÉ
This was a record I recorded and produced back in 2009. It's the last project I made before starting work on ÌFÉ. Excited to see it finally go to vinyl! It's something of a classic in Puerto Rico. ÌFÉ
